Detection signals

Signal 01

Chat-to-viewer ratio

When chatters are a fraction of a percent of viewers for hours on end, something is off.

Signal 02

Viewer count flatline

Honest viewership ebbs and flows. Suspiciously flat lines are an obvious tell.

Signal 03

Sudden viewer cliff

Spikes and drops that defy normal audience behavior often indicate paid traffic.

Signal 04

Engagement vs growth

Real follower gain tracks engagement. Disconnects between them are a red flag.

Signal 05

Cross-platform sanity

A channel that explodes overnight without social, YT, or clip activity is suspect.

Signal 06

Honest scoring model

No false certainty. Channels get a confidence-weighted score — never a definitive verdict.

Methodology

Phase 01

Behavior baselining

We compare a channel against itself across hours, days, and weeks. A 200-viewer streamer suddenly sustaining 8,000 with no clip traffic is a different fingerprint than steady organic growth.

Phase 02

Cross-signal correlation

Viewership only counts if it agrees with everything else — chat activity, follower velocity, social traffic, clip views, and category context. Disagreement scores higher.

Phase 03

Honest confidence rating

Every channel gets a 0–100 confidence score with the specific signals that drove it. No black-box verdicts, no clickbait percentages. You can read why the number is what it is.

FAQ

Can you tell exactly how many bots a channel has?

No — and anyone who says they can is bluffing. We'll show a confidence-weighted score and the signals behind it, never an authoritative count.

Which platforms will it cover at launch?

Twitch and Kick first. YouTube Live, Rumble, and Trovo are slower because their public APIs surface less reliable timing data.

How fresh will the analysis be?

Live signals sampled every few minutes during a stream. Historical baselining looks back across a full 30-day window.

Will it show false positives?

Some, unavoidably — raids, viral clips, and event spikes can look like inflation. That's why the score comes with the signals that drove it.

Is this an accusation tool?

Absolutely not. Channels surface a risk score, not a verdict. The goal is to help honest streamers and viewers — not to start drama.

Will viewbot detection cost extra?

Basic checks will be free with limits. Bulk monitoring and API access ship as part of StreamParty Pro.

Investigation status · Ongoing

Detecting view-botting reliably is hard. We're building this carefully and won't ship until the signal is trustworthy.
